Faith Formation

General Information

The below information is applicable for the 2025-2026 year. If you're looking for information regarding the 2024-2025 year, please view the Faith Formation Hub.

We have adopted a family-based model of Faith Formation. The aim of Faith Formation is to assist parents in their role as the primary educators in faith for their children. Children and youth are encouraged to participate in the various social and service activities held in the parish, as well as regular worship with their parents.

Faith Formation consists of the following parts:

Student Gatherings

Typically held on the second and fourth Sundays, students in grades K-6 gather for a traditional classroom experience divided by grade, with the exception of kindergarten and 1st grade, who share a classroom. Students in grades 7+8 gather for a small group, discussion/video-based model of instruction.

Students complete the Family Life unit, as required by the Archdiocese of Baltimore, during "special sessions" in the fall and spring. We use the Growing with God curriculum from Loyola Press.

Parent Sessions

Usually held on the second Sunday of the month, parents gather for a session just for them, which typically includes light refreshments, a video, and small group table discussion.

Faith in the Family

Family involvement in their child's faith is crucial. We require all families to complete  family-based activities throughout the year to complete this component of our program. Complete information regarding this component can be found in the document at the bottom of this page titled Faith in the Family.

Family Mass

Held on the third Sunday of the month at 10 AM (September - April), this Mass is dedicated to our families and children are responsible for fulfilling liturgical roles. Roles include: greeter, reader, collector, participation in the offertory procession, involvement in music, and altar serving (if trained). Families are encouraged to attend all Family Masses and are required to participate in at least one!

Registration

All families looking to register for the 2025-2026 year are first required to complete an in person "Family Meeting" with Clare Kinsey and/or Susan Baldwin. Meetings generally last approximately 20 minutes for returning families and 45 minutes for new families. Meeting availability continues the whole summer!

You will receive access to the 2025-2026 registration after completing your meeting.

Schedule Your Family Meeting

Tuition

1 child - $110

2 children - $170

3 or more children - $230

Families with a child who is preparing for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are required to pay an additional $75 sacramental prep fee (per family, not per child preparing for the sacrament).

Early Bird: A $25 discount is applied for registrations submitted prior to June 1.

Late: A $50 late fee is applied to all registrations submitted after August 15.

Early bird and late tuition fees are determined by when you submit your registration, NOT when you complete your Family Meeting.

If you need assistance in determining the amount you owe, contact Clare Kinsey.
