Service Opportunities for Youth

General Information

Youth volunteers can be anyone in 7th-12th grade, unless otherwise noted. Youth ages 14-17 must complete the Worthy of the Call training prior to volunteering. To learn more about this process, click here.

Responsibilities vary depending on the event. If you would like a more specific description of responsibilities for a certain event before signing-up please contact Clare Kinsey and/or Susan Baldwin. At most events, youth volunteers will be asked to assist with children's activities, serving food, and clean up. If youth are signing-up to help with set up (often the day before an event), they can expect to be moving tables/chairs, putting up decorations, and prepping food. General descriptions of most events can be found on the Family Ministry page of this website

For many events, parents can volunteer along side their child. All adults who are volunteering must be cleared through VIRTUS. Adults should contact Clare Kinsey if interested in volunteering.
